Number 5. Florida

Week 1 result: (1-0) 24-7 Win against UMass

Luke Del Rio had a fine debut for the Florida Gators, passing for 256 yards and 2 TDs.

Florida quietly too care of business and have shown that they will continue to be a force within the  SEC East and could once again challenge for the conference crown in the SEC title game. The defense was once again the greatest strength of the Gators and they will most likely continue that theme throughout the season.

While the Gators were somewhat quiet in their victory, the Gators won’t be flying under radar anymore in the race for the SEC East. As of now, Florida looks like a better team than Tennessee.

Next Game: Saturday, September 10, vs. Florida 3:30 ET CBS
