Number 3. Ole Miss

Week 1 result: (0-1) 45-34 Loss to Florida State

Ole Miss came out hot and looked like one of the top teams in the country and a team that was more than capable of battling Alabama. However that Ole Miss team left the game at halftime.

The Rebels defense collapsed and the Rebel offense totaled a whopping -7 yards of offense in the 3rd quarter. Ole Miss is  very capable of having a great offense, that was on display last night. The defense is what is worrisome for the Rebels, in particular the defensive backfield. Ole Miss lost Ken Webster for the year on the first drive of the game and Ole Miss will have to get a young secondary ready to go quickly.

Ole Miss can challenge Alabama, they are not afforded the time to correct the issues in the secondary as the two teams play on September 17.
