The Duke Blue Devils drop two spots in these week’s power rankings. The Blue Devils had a rough week in their 24-14 loss to the Wake Forest Demon Deacons.

The offense turned the ball over three times, fumbling twice and throwing an interception. Duke kicker AJ Reed missed field goals of 30 and 43 yards.

The Blue Devils offense only scored once in each half against the Wake Forest Demon Deacons.

The Blue Devils see their offensive woes at a time when unfortunate circumstances continue to strike. They lost their starting quarterback Thomas Sirk to injury during opening practices.

The Blue Devils travel to Big Ten territory to visit the Northwestern Wildcats. Vengeance is certainly on the mind, as Duke lost to Northwestern last season 19-10.
