Kentucky Won’t Win a Single Game This Season

Things in Kentucky are bad. Really bad. It’s going to be a long season and head coach Mark Stoops may not survive until Halloween, but the Wildcats aren’t a complete lost cause.

Kentucky Wildcats

They’ve lost two games this season – a second half meltdown against a Southern Miss team who may be a lot better than many thought, and an embarrassing showing against a Florida team that may have the best defense in the FBS.

All is not lost, Wildcat Nation. There are some winnable games coming up.

Over the next two weeks, if the Wildcats lose to both New Mexico State and South Carolina (who may be the worst team in the SEC to be honest), then I might concede that a goose-egg in the win column is inevitable. But those are two games in which the Wildcats should be able to get back to .500 for the season.

Vanderbilt, Missouri and Austin Peay also provide chances for wins and (gulp, can’t believe I’m saying this) bowl eligibility.

One suggestion, coach Stoops…

Try defense. It’s been known to work a time or two in winning games.
