Louisville Cardinals (No. 10 to No. 3)

The Louisville Cardinals are for real and they should be taken seriously. That was the message the Cardinals sent in the 63-20 victory over Florida State.

The Cardinals jumped seven spots to enter the top 3 teams in this week’s AP Poll.

Louisville is 2-0 in the ACC this season, far removed from their 0-3 start a season ago. All credit for this hot start is due to quarterback Lamar Jackson.

Jackson has done it all for Louisville so far, passing for 913 yards and rushing for 464 rushing yards this season. He is averaging 9.5 yards per carry while still completing 61 percent of his passes.

The ACC Title is now a wide open race thanks to Louisville. After Week 3, they’ve made Florida State an afterthought. Can they keep this performance up all season though?
