The Clemson Tigers made easy work of the South Carolina State Bulldogs and climb to the second spot in the ACC Power Rankings.

The game was ultimately shortened by both coaches by the third quarter. It spoke aboutvolumes on how focused Clemson was going in. They were without wide receiver Hunter Renfrow.

The Tigers scored 31 points in the opening quarter. Clemson wide receiver Ray-Ray McCloud scored twice with four receptions for 60 yards, making sure he carried the ball across the goal line each time this week.

Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson was 12 for 15 with 152 yards and three touchdowns on the day.

The Clemson defense allowed 102 yards of total offense in the game. The Tigers only allowed 9 Bulldog first downs, forced two turnovers, and registered four sacks.
