The Louisville Cardinals are currently the best team in the ACC, they round out the power rankings at number 1.

The Cardinals are averaging a nation best 66 points a game. They registered over 60 points for the  and over 500 yards of total offense for the third straight week in their victory over the Florida State Seminoles 63-20.

Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson was a monster, solidifying himself as a true Heisman candidate in the process. Jackson passed for 216 yards and a touchdown and rushed for 146 yards and four touchdowns.

Jackson became the first FBS player to record over 200 passing yards and 100 rushing yards since 2012. He has certainly catapulted himself to the top of many Heisman lists after this week’s performance.

The Cardinals are ranked number 3 in the AP Poll, their highest ranking since 2006.

Next Week: Marshall

The Louisville Cardinals face the Marshall Thundering Herd in a primetime Saturday game next week. The Cardinals owe Marshall a game, they’ve lost the last four meetings.
