ACC Football: Week 3 Power Rankings
The Boston College Golden Eagles are slowly imploding which could show in future power rankings. In Week 3, the Golden Eagles did not score a point and were held to 124 total yards of offense by the Virginia Tech Hokies.
The seat is definitely heating up under head coach Steve Addazio as the Golden Eagles registered their second worst defeat in school history 49-0. The Golden Eagles did not look like the team that held the UMAss Minutement to -26 rushing yards in Week 2.
They are averaging 262.7 offensive yards per game, 4.5 yards per play, 58 plays a game, and have completed 47.1 percent of their passes as a team. All of these are ranked last in the ACC.
The Golden Eagles have a lot of work to do on the offensive side of the ball. They only registered six first downs and 44 rushing yards against the Hokies.
Next Week: Wagner
The good thing for Boston College is they face Wagner University next week, which should make for an easy win and give their offense time to get some reps.
