9. Kansas Jayhawks (Record: 1-2)

The Kansas Jayhawks’ only win this season comes against Rhode Island, which didn’t have the firepower to propel the confidence boost past final call in Lawrence, Kan. that night.

Coming off a 43-7 loss at Memphis, the Jayhawks will have a rough two weeks of preparation before hitting the road again to face Texas Tech.

Not only did the Jayhawks turn the ball over to Memphis six times, the Tigers were able to pile 13-points on due to those mistakes. With 314-yards of total offense for Kansas, the only points came by way of a 66-yard touchdown run by Khalil Herbert.

That said, the next two weeks might make for restless minds, which is counterproductive, as too much attention spent on such a blowout loss allows more time to think about mistakes, as opposed to adopting that short-term mentality Kansas needs.
