Week 3 result – 23-17 win over Georgia State

Well, as LSU continues to climb out of the top 25, Wisconsin is slowly showing the country that maybe they weren’t the impressive team we all thought.

Yes, a win over #7 LSU was extremely impressive, and a follow up blowout against Akron definitely supported their case. But a 23-17 win over Georgia State really hurts them. No one is going to look at this game in any positive way, except for a win on their record.

They head to Michigan State next week to open up conference play, and if they have a performance like they did this week, they could expect their strong start to the season to come to an abrupt stop.
