Week 3 result – 34-27 win over Temple

Penn State yet again had a simple win and turned it difficult. A team that had so much potential heading into the season has shown that their young offense is going to be better than their highly-rated defense.

No one has any idea what happened to Penn State’s defense, but it needs to be fixed and it needs to be fixed now. As the Nittany Lions try to escape the back of the pack, they’re going to need to be able to win without scoring 30-plus points.

If this isn’t fixed next week against Michigan, it could be the end of the road for this team and possibly head coach James Franklin.
