Week 3 result – 30-24 win over UCF

Maryland has definitely slowed down since Week 1, which was expected. The Terrapins were one of the sleepers in the Big Ten, and still could end up with a big season.

A six point victory doesn’t do them justice, as this team has shown to have a very well put together squad this season. Whether their Week 1 hype was just talk or not is still up for debate, but for now they’re 3-0 and you can’t knock that.

They start their conference play against Purdue, which should be a victory for Maryland. After that they head to Happy Valley to play Penn State in their first real Big Ten action. This test should decide whether all the hype was talk or real.
