Week 3 result – 23-21 loss to North Dakota State

Even without Carson Wentz, North Dakota State was still capable of defeating the Iowa Hawkeyes. Although many people are saying that North Dakota State is the most underrated team in college football right now, it still doesn’t justify that a top 25 team, and Big Ten contender, lost to them.

Iowa had a lot of promise last week. They were looking good, finishing games strong, and slowly sneaking their way into the top 10 in the AP Polls. Well, that’s all but forgotten now.

It’s going to take some impressive wins to work their way back into the top 15, and even if they can start off their Big Ten play strong, it could be a stretch that they crack the top 10 this season.
