College Football Rankings 2016: Projected AP Top 25 after Week 4

Stanford took the lead against UCLA on an opening-drive field goal at the Rose Bowl, and then promptly fell behind for most of the night after Kenny Young intercepted a Ryan Burns pass and the Bruins converted the mistake into seven points and the lead. Chipping away with Christian McCaffrey on the ground, though, Stanford was able to work their way back into the game, scoring the winning TD with 26 seconds remaining and then adding a fumble recovery TD on the last play for good measure.
Stanford has no time to rest, as they head to Seattle next weekend to face Washington. After winning three of the first five Pac-12 championships after expansion and the addition of a title game, the Cardinal has to beat the UW to prevent a changing of the guard in the North Division. Few easy games remain in league play, and David Shaw’s crew also has to head to South Bend to face Notre Dame in three weeks.
