The Golden Eagles made quick work of the FCS Wagner Seahawks this past week and stay idle at 12th in this week’s power rankings.

The Boston College defense allow just 107 yards of total offense and seven first downs in the game. It was a much better showing than their 49 point blowout last week to the Hokies.

The Seahawks only averaged 2.5 yards per pass and 2 yards per rush, they were 2-13 on third down efficiency.

The Golden Eagles offense had 490 yards of total offense, 300 of them rushing yards. Quarterback Patrick Towles had two rushing touchdowns and two passing touchdowns in the game.

Running backs Davon Jones and Jon Hilliman had 90 rushing yards and 83 rushing yards respectively. Hilliman had two rushing touchdowns.

This Week: Buffalo

Boston College plays the Buffalo Bulls this week, their second to last nonconference game of the season. Boston College is 6-2 all time against the Buffalo, their last victory coming in 2006. The score was 41-0.
