The Wolfpack had a bye week but with Pittsburgh’s loss to North Carolina, they move up one spot in this week’s power rankings.

They face Wake Forest this week who at 4-0 looks like one of the better teams in the ACC.

The Yellow Jackets drop a spot in this week’s power rankings. Georgia Tech had a rough go of things this past Thursday night in their lopsided 26-7 loss.

The Yellow Jackets were simply dominated all game in their first loss of the season. They managed just 29 passing yards and 95 rushing yards. They were 2-12 on third down efficiency in the game.

Georgia Tech averages 216.8 rushing yards per game. Running back Dedrick Mills had 75 rushing yards and the lone touchdown for the Yellow Jackets offense.

Quarterback Justin Thomas completed just 30.8 percent of his passes and was sacked three times in the game. Hopefully the Yellow Jackets can put this loss in their rearview and learn from their mistakes.

This Week: Miami

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets face No. 14 Miami and are now 1-1 in the ACC. They’ll need to go into this week’s game with a lot more focus or see themselves in a worse position in the ACC power rankings.
