Ole Miss Rebels

Despite their 2-2 record, the Ole Miss Rebels jumped 7 spots to No. 16 after demolishing the Georgia Bulldogs 45-14.

Quarterback Chad Kelly played like a man possessed, going 18 for 24 with 282 passing yards, two passing touchdowns and a 41-yard touchdown run. The Rebels defense jumped on the Georgia Bulldogs early and never looked back in the rout.

The offense gained 510 yards of total offense, the defense had a pick six, and the Rebels held the Bulldogs scoreless until the third quarter.

It was a good week for the Rebels after their collapse last week against the Alabama Crimson Tide. The Rebels are the only two loss team in the AP Top 25 rankings.

Next Week: Memphis

The Rebels play the Memphis Tigers next week, which shouldn’t be taken lightly. The Tiger scored 77 points against Bowling Green last week and are undefeated at 3-0 on the season.
