College Football Rankings 2016: Week 5 AP Poll winners and losers
Utah Utes
The Utah Utes are off to a 4-0 start for the second straight season and climbed six spots to No. 18 in this week’s AP Poll rankings.
The Utes used a 14 point fourth quarter to rally to a 31-27 victory over the USC Trojans this past week. Quarterback Troy Williams led the Utes on a 15 play, 93-yard drive that spanned over 5:21 to seal the victory.
Utah went for it twice on fourth down in the drive to keep a victory in sight. Williams threw for 270 passing yards and two touchdowns while rushing for another touchdown in the game.
It certainly puts the Utes in prime position in the Pac-12 as other teams like the Oregon Ducks lost their first conference game.
Next Week: @California
The Utah Utes travel to California which will certainly challenge their AP Poll position next week. The Utes have won the last two meetings between the teams.
