Week 4 result – 31-24 win over Colorado State

We’re all just waiting for Minnesota to play an actual team to see if their 3-0 start is impressive or not. A 31-24 win says nothing against Colorado State, but it does keep the Golden Gophers’ record perfect, and right now that’s all that matters.

Minnesota’s next opponent is Penn State, which is their first chance to show us if they’re real or not. If they blow out PSU, they may be looking at teams like Maryland and Iowa in the rearview mirror.

On the other end, though, if they fall short to Penn State, then they’re going to struggle to gain respect for the rest of the season.
