What more is there to say? Alabama went out and did what Alabama does, which is beat up on inferior teams and then go get ready for the next game.

Alabama looked as dominant as they have at any point in this young season with a complete game and beating of Nick Saban’s alma mater, Kent State. Jalen Hurts was once again electric, but hardly needed as Blake Barnett played most of the game after the Tide had a comfortable lead. The defense was nasty and totally shut down Kent State. The Crimson Tide defense was nasty, as always, holding Kent State to just 166 yards of total offense in the game.

Alabama continues to be the top team in the conference. They got past Ole Miss but still have difficult teams to play remaining on the schedule, next week however, is not one of those games.

Next game: October 1 vs Kentucky, 7:00pm ET ESPN
