After an impressive win over East Carolina two Saturdays ago, South Carolina seemed to regress and lost to Kentucky this past weekend.

I don’t think most people would have thought that South Carolina would have lost this game, the offense was doing well and Kentucky’s defense was like running through air. Credit to the Wildcats, they did what they needed to do to make adjustments on defense and South Carolina did not make the same adjustments to overcome the defensive game plan.

South Carolina proved that it does have a good defense, as Kentucky’s offense has seemingly done well against teams that have little to no defense. Gamecock fans have to and should be concerned about the offense, if you cannot move the ball and score on Kentucky then who can you score on?
