Buffalo at Boston College (Saturday/1:00 pm)

Which Boston College team will show up at home this weekend? Will it be the crew that knocked off overmatched UMass and FCS Wagner? Will it be the one that lost by three at Georgia Tech to open the season? Or will it be the squad that was shut out 49-0 last week by Virginia Tech? With a passing offense ranked in the bottom dozen in FBS, the Eagles have leaned heavily on their defense all season long just to reach 2-2.

This week they’ll take on a Buffalo team that ended a five-game losing streak dating back to November 2015. The Bulls engineered a fourth-quarter comeback to force overtime against then-unbeaten Army, and a field goal in the extra period was enough to give Buffalo a long-sought victory. With an offense that ranks 120th in points scored per game, though, it would be an upset of monumental proportions if the Bulls even stay within a touchdown of Boston College on Saturday.
