The Syracuse Orange stay steady at 13 in the power rankings after their 50-33 loss to Notre Dame. The Orange were simply outmatched this week and it showed.

The defense allowed 654 yards of offense, including 471 passing yards in a game that was never very close from the beginning. Quarterback Eric Dungey carried the Orange offense. Dungey had 363 passing yards, two passing touchdowns, and three rushing touchdowns in the game. Wide receiver Amba Etta-Tawo recorded 134 receiving yards and a touchdown.

It is Etta-Tawo’s fifth straight game with at least 100 receiving yards. He leads the FBS in receiving yards with 840.

This Week: @Wake Forest

The Syracuse Orange are 0-1 as they face the Wake Forest Demon Deacons this week. Both teams are at a crossroads, with the Demon Deacons looking to get their second win in ACC play. The Orange have won four straight games against Wake Forest.
