The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets are 1-2 in the ACC this season. Their struggles have the ACC season looking bleak. Quarterback Justin Thomas had two fumbles for touchdown returns and an interception in their 35-21 loss last week to Miami.

Georgia Tech averages 23.6 points per game, 99th in the FBS. The Yellow Jackets are tied for last in the ACC in total yards per game with 336. Their 108 passing yards per game rank last in the ACC as well.’

The defense hasn’t fared much better on the other side of the ball despite allowing just 18.4 points per game. The Yellow Jackets have an ACC low five sacks through five games.

Back-to-back home losses for Georgia Tech show that improvement may still be on the horizon for Paul Johnson and company.
