The Wake Forest Demon Deacons are 4-1 this season and despite their loss to NC State, they seem to still be in good shape. They drop to number 8 in this week’s power rankings.

The Demon Deacons are no longer undefeated this season but good news: two more wins to a bowl bid. Wake Forest lost their first game of the season last week 33-16 to the NC State Wolfpack. They were simply outplayed by the Wolfpack who outgained them 527-352 in total yards of offense.

They forced no turnovers in the game and were down 17-0 at halftime. Hopefully the return of quarterback Kendall Hinton can help steer the offense in the right direction.

This Week: Syracuse

The Demon Deacons continue their ACC schedule against Syracuse this weekend. They have lost the last four meetings with the Orange.
