The Florida State Seminoles are now 0-2 in the ACC and in the process, their 22-game home winning streak has been snapped as well. They drop to the sixth ranked team in this week’s power rankings.

The Seminoles used a 21-point fourth quarter to rally back to a 35-34 lead with 23 seconds left to play. But the Tar Heels would drive it right back down the field and score on a 54-yard field goal to win it going away.

Florida State lost despite 140 rushing yards and three touchdowns from running back Dalvin Cook. He’s had a bit of a slow start this season. Cook also had 106 receiving yards. Seminoles quarterback Deondre Francois had 372 passing yards but no receiving touchdowns. Francois also rushed for a touchdown.
