5. Fighting Ducks Helmet and Attire (October 17, 2015)

Worn against Washington in 2015, this look is unique as much because it is one of the more understated yet unique of Oregon’s looks over the recent past. The design utilized the Oregon “Fighting Duck” logo on the helmet itself rather than on the uniforms. There were several variants on this look earlier in the season, but this particular look against Washington during a 26-20 victory in Seattle gets the nod for several reasons.

The first two times this design was implemented, it featured a white, silver, and black motif. The second time, the uniform was exclusively a yellow-on-black look. The third time was a charm, as it incorporated both of Oregon’s school colors while remaining unique in including the silver and white elements. Yellow was sparing, yet included on the pants in the form of the Fighting Ducks text in the Oregon font.
