Washington ended its 12-year losing streak to Oregon in dominant fashion. Sophomore quarterback Jake Browning tied the Pac-12 record by accounting for eight touchdowns (six passing, two rushing) against the Ducks in the 70-21 rout at Autzen Stadium. Myles Gaskin ran for 197 yards on just 16 carries, adding another touchdown. And against a Ducks offense that is historically potent, Washington allowed more than 400 yards yet easily ran away with the blowout.

Now the Huskies can set their sights on the school’s first Pac-12 title since before the conference expanded to a dozen teams. Stanford and the Ducks, the two teams expected to give them fits, have both been vanquished already. Back-to-back road trips to Utah and California could prove to be the biggest test for the Huskies, but neither USC nor Arizona State is likely to drum up much concern for Chris Petersen or his team. As long as they don’t blow it in the Apple Cup against rival Washington State, UW should arrive in Santa Clara undefeated as they play for the conference championship.
