College Football Rankings 2016: Projected AP Top 25 after Week 6

The Buckeyes cruised against Indiana on Saturday, starting slowly before stretching out its lead through the second half. J.T. Barrett actually rushed for more yards than he racked up in the air. The quarterback finished with 93 yards on 9-of-21 passing with a touchdown and an interception, and 137 rushing yards and another score. Despite coughing up two turnovers total and incurring nine penalties, Ohio State had little trouble taking care of business against a Hoosiers squad high off its upset of Michigan State the week before.
Urban Meyer’s crew now has to head on the road the next few weeks to face Wisconsin and Penn State. The Buckeyes should have little trouble stopping either offense, so it will be a matter of whether Barrett and company can get the job done when Ohio State has the ball. They also have games against Nebraska, Michigan State, and Michigan in November that will ramp up the level of difficulty in the second half of the season. Right now it looks like few teams can seriously challenge the Buckeyes in Big Ten play.
