LSU. Jamal Adams. 22. player. 124. . S

LSU safety Jamal Adams is the 22nd pick in this week’s mock draft to the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Chiefs didn’t have a first round pick in last year’s draft. In this season’s, they should have a late 1st-rounder. Taking Jamal Adams gives them an aggressive safety to support in pass coverage.

Adams can make tackles in traffic but struggles in the open field. He is a blend of aggressive and instinctive who can matchup with anyone. The junior safety has 167 tackles, 12 pass deflections, and four interceptions so far in his career at LSU.

The Chiefs lead the NFL in interceptions with nine currently, the addition of Adams could continue to see that number grow.
