Week 7 result – 31-10 loss to Minnesota

Maryland had a chance to compete for the Big Ten and possibly a top 25 ranking after starting 4-0. But it’s hard to find positives from two straight losses to Penn State and Minnesota.

The Terrapins may still be able to salvage 2016, but they can’t afford another loss. Fortunately, Maryland plays Michigan State next and should be able to pull off a victory. If they lose, though, you can kiss this season goodbye.

With a few tough games remaining this year, it’s hard to say the Maryland will turn back-to-back losses around. It’s college football, though, and anything can happen.
