Week 7 result – 31-10 win over Maryland 

It’s a little surprising to look at Minnesota and realize they only have two losses so far. For a team who has been less than impressive, they seem to win under the radar. If they continue to, they could make a statement for a bowl game and no one will see it coming.

Besides Nebraska and Wisconsin, Minnesota doesn’t have a very hard schedule remaining. They should be able to keep winning and possibly finish with a four loss record. If they pull off a win against Nebraska or Wisconsin, it could be an even better year.

Moving forward, Minnesota is the only unidentified team in the Big Ten. Seven weeks into the year, almost every team is either a winner or loser. But the Golden Gophers are still a unknown.
