The Denver Broncos have one of the most dominant and intimidating defenses in the NFL. Still, that doesn’t mean that they couldn’t afford to add another key contributor to that defense in the first round. In fact, the Broncos could use a safety to pair with T.J. Ward in the defensive backfield, because Darian Stewart isn’t exactly an All Pro.

LSU’s Jamal Adams could fit nicely in Denver’s defense. His great balance between aggressiveness and instincts allows him to make great plays while matching up with just about anyone in the passing game.

Adams still needs to prove that he can consistently cover deep, but other than that, Adams is a pretty complete safety prospect that could learn a lot by playing with guys like Ward, Aqib Talib and Chris Harris.
