You could make the argument that the Dallas Cowboys could try and draft a wide receiver, but the offense looks like it’s doing just fine thanks to Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott in the backfield.

Instead, the Cowboys should take a look at some defensive help. There aren’t any elite edge rushers on the board, but Dallas could focus on adding some depth at the cornerback position with this pick.

Iowa’s Desmond King is the next best cornerback available. He’s a top-tier athlete with the speed and ball skills to be an immediate starting slot corner at the next level. With time, he could find his place on the outside.

There’s no such thing as too many defensive backs, so adding a prospect like King is probably the best move with the No. 29 pick for the Cowboys.
