Week 8 result – 24-21 win over Ohio State

What a big win for Penn State. Everyone said this team was on the rise after their win against Maryland, but I don’t think anyone expected this. As 19-point underdogs, Penn State claimed the biggest upset of the season, not only in the Big Ten but in college football.

This team proved that they can compete with anyone. For the first time all season, Penn State’s defense looked like the promising unit they were meant to be. When you claim six sacks against J.T. Barrett, you prove that you are one of the best defenses in the NCAA.

This team looked scary. Even after going down 21-7, the Nittany Lions never looked nervous. If this is how they plan to play for the rest of the season, the country could be in for a late-season surprise.
