Week 8 result – 24-14 loss to Northwestern

There’s no more defending Indiana on having a tough schedule. This team may have had to play Wisconsin and Ohio State in back-to-back weeks, but after a loss to Northwestern, it’s clear that their early season success was just a fluke.

The Hoosiers had a lot of promise, and may still have a bright future ahead of them. This year, though, Indiana’s season is over. With Penn State and Michigan still on the schedule, Indiana may be looking at a below .500 finish to the year.

Seeing Indiana at the top of the Big Ten was exciting, especially for Hoosiers fans. But that’s all but over as the back end of the season takes off.
