This season hasn’t gone according to plan for the Florida State Seminoles. The team came into the season with national title aspirations, but instead they are just 5-2 coming off of a bye week. On the bright side, that week of rest should have Dalvin Cook ready to put up a big performance against Clemson on Saturday.

After a disappointing game against Louisville, Cook has been firing on all cylinders with over 100 rushing yards in every game since. He’s been a beast on the ground this season, racking up 900 yards and seven touchdowns.

At the same time, Cook has also been much more dangerous through the air this season. The Florida State running back has already caught 21 passes for 356 yards and a score, putting him up over 1,200 total yards on the year.

Cook’s entire legacy as a Seminole could come down to Saturday’s game against the Tigers. If he can run over this talented Clemson defense, then there will be no doubt that Cook will belong along the all-time great running backs to come out of Florida State like Warrick Dunn and Devonta Freeman.
