Arkansas opened November by becoming bowl-eligible at home on Saturday, knocking off SEC East leader Florida 31-10 for its sixth win of the season. The Razorbacks as a team rushed for 223 yards and two touchdowns, while Austin Allen threw for 243 yards with a score and a pick. The defense came up huge, preventing Luke Del Rio from throwing a touchdown pass and snagging two interceptions from him. The Florida run game, meanwhile, averaged less than a yard per carry.

What it all means is that Arkansas is likely to make its way into the Top 25 this week in both the AP poll and the CFP rankings. They will likely take over Baylor’s position in the rankings, after the Bears lost by 40 at home to a .500 team. Bret Bielema’s team doesn’t really have a shot at the SEC title, and a New Year’s Six bid is also probably a longshot. But while it is still uncertain what the CFP committee will think of the Razorbacks, the AP voters will likely move them back into the Top 25 this week.
