The Florida State Seminoles survived on the road last week, defeating the NC State Wolfpack 24-20. The Seminoles remain steady at fifth in this week’s power rankings.

Running back Dalvin Cook was held to just 65 rushing yards but did score a rushing touchdown in the game. Quarterback Deondre Francois threw for 330 passing yards and a touchdown. He completed 9 passes for 153 yards to receiver Nyqwan Murray.

It was fourth game this season Francois threw for over 300 passing yards in a game. Murray’s 153 receiving yards are a new career-high for the sophomore receiver.

They were outgained on offense 469-393 and on first downs 31-20. At 3-3 in ACC play, the Seminoles can still finish the season strong. But they’ll need to put last week’s performance behind them quickly.

This Week: Boston College

The Florida State offense will get a chance to redeem themselves this week in terms of points when they face the Boston College Golden Eagles.
