The Clemson Tigers remain the top team in this week’s power rankings after 52-0 win over Syracuse. Their win doesn’t come without a bit of drama, however, as quarterback Deshaun Watson left in the first half with a shoulder injury.

Watson threw for 169 yards and two touchdowns before leaving in the second quarter with the injury. The Tigers led 30-0 at halftime.

Receiver Deon Cain caught five passes for 125 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Clemson passing attack.

The defense held Syracuse receiver Amba Etta-Tawo below 100 receiving yards for the third time this season. It was also the fourth game Etta-Tawo went without a touchdown catch.

The Tigers are peaking at the right time, even without their best player for a half.

This Week: Pittsburgh

Clemson welcomes Pittsburgh to town for their first meeting since 1977. It will be an interesting game for the Tigers on offense as Pittsburgh looks to bounce back this week on the national stage.
