South Carolina Gamecocks

South Carolina 31-Missouri 21

SEC football has a moment to be proud of with Muschamp’s class act with Barry Odom, and it also appears that Muschamp has things rolling in South Carolina. The Gamecocks have now won three in a row and are poised to make a bowl game without a problem. Muschamp will also get a shot at his former employer, as the Gamecocks square off with Florida this week in a SEC football game that will be more hotly anticipated than we ever thought.

South Carolina’s offense continues to improve and things should be fun to watch in the final quarter of the season for South Carolina.

Impact Moving Forward

-Full Stem Ahead

South Carolina freshman quarterback Jake Bentley remained undefeated as the Gamecock’s starter. Bentley looked impressive, completing 22-of-28 passes, and no doubt feels confident headed into his matchup next week with Florida. Whether or not that confidence will lead to anything, though, remains to be seen. Regardless, though South Carolina should make a bowl game this year. As a result, Muschamp is already exceeding expectations.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. Muschamp and Roper will be regarded as an elite coaching tandem by the time their tenure at South Carolina is up.
