USC Trojans cornerback Ajene Harris intercepted Notre Dame’s DeShone Kizer on Saturday and took the pass to the house for a touchdown.

After a tough start to the season, the USC Trojans have rebounded quite nicely. That rebound continued on Saturday with a strong start to their game against an incredibly disappointing Notre Dame Fighting Irish team.

Approaching halftime, the Fighting Irish were down 17-7 and trying to answer back with a score before going into the locker room. Notre Dame quarterback DeShone Kizer has been carrying the offense all year, and he tried to make a throw for the first down.

Instead, Trojans cornerback Ajene Harris read the pass the whole way, jumped the route and took off. Harris wasn’t even touched as he returned the pass 33 yards for a touchdown to put the Trojans up 24-7 heading into the locker room. You can watch the video of the pick six below.

The Trojans started the season with an embarrassing loss to the Crimson Tide. However, the team has completely turned things around and are now 8-3 with a good chance of getting win No. 9 with a win over Notre Dame.

As for the Fighting Irish, this has been an absolute nightmare of a season. Notre Dame came into Saturday with a 4-7 record and essentially no hope of going to a bowl game. Meanwhile, Kizer’s future is uncertain as he continues to consider declaring for the NFL draft.

Unfortunately for Kizer, passes like this one probably aren’t going to do his draft stock any favors.
