Trace McSorley set a Big Ten championship game record, throwing for 384 yards and four touchdowns as the Nittany Lions pulled off a comeback victory against Wisconsin on Saturday. Down 28-14 at halftime, Penn State allowed just one field goal in the second half and managed a fourth-down stop deep in their own territory to pull out the 38-31 victory. Saeed Blacknall and DaeSean Hamilton both finished over 100 receiving yards.

With their head-to-head win over Ohio State, James Franklin’s team might just have pulled off the improbable to reach the College Football Playoff. We are projecting that they will get the same advantage that Ohio State received in 2014, with the Buckeyes playing the role of TCU this year. That puts Penn State on target to face Alabama in the Peach Bowl with a shot at the national title.

PROJECTED BOWL DESTINATION: Peach Bowl (December 31)
