2. Amik Robertson, three-star CB (Thibodaux, LA)

Less than a week has gone by since Texas extended an offer to Amik Robertson who was recruited by Herman at Houston. At 5-foot-9, 165 pounds, Robertson is ranked as the No. 63 cornerback in the country, according to 247Sports Composite. Three stars might be a tad underrating him because the kid can flat out play. A lot of polish in his game with incredible instincts and seems to make plays where ever you put him. LSU looks like the favorite for this Louisiana product but with the offer from Texas coming rather late in the game, he’s definitely got a lot to think about. The Longhorns do have Montrell Estell, a corner back commit in the 2017 class, but a signature from Robertson would look great for this new staff.
