CB Teez Tabor, Florida

Cornerback Teez Tabor entered the NFL Combine with a lot of hype. He had a stellar career with the Florida Gators and entered his name early into the NFL Draft.

At Florida, he racked up 104 tackles, 11.0 tackles for loss, 4.0 sacks, eight interceptions and three interception returns for touchdowns. He ranked top-five in the SEC in interceptions in 2015 and 2016, becoming one of the most-fear corners in the conference.

However, at the combine, Tabor ran one of the third-worst times in the 40-yard dash at 4.62 seconds. While a lot of scouts questioned his ability, Tabor did little to silence his critics. The 6-foot and 201-pound cornerback bench pressed 225 pounds nine times. He ranked at the bottom in the bench press as well.

With so much hype, Tabor flopped with his performance. He has an opportunity to bounce back at Florida’s Pro Day. Scouts compared his performance to that of Cleveland Browns cornerback Joe Haden. Haden had a disappointing NFL Combine back in 2010 when he ran a 4.57 and 4.60 40-yard dash.
