Kansas State head coach Bill Snyder is not a fan of Oklahoma State football coach Mike Gundy’s mullet, to say the least.

Mike Gundy has been working on his mullet for quite some time. The Oklahoma State football coach has groomed it by trimming, slicking his hair back and sporting it like he doesn’t care what anyone things.

So far, it’s worked for him.

Sure, mullets have frowned upon in the public eye since, like, forever, but Gundy isn’t afraid to rock one despite what his Big 12 colleagues have to say.

One strong opponent of the mullet happens to be one of the most old-school coaches in the entire country, Kansas State’s Bill Snyder.

What did he do when he saw Gundy’s locks at Big 12 Media Days this week? Well, all he could do was just shake his head in disapproval.

This isn’t new, though. Gundy has had a mullet for as long as anyone can remember and Oklahoma State fans love him for it — well, some of them do.

In fact, ESPN‘s Mitch Sherman spoke to Gundy and the head coach claimed that his signature style has brought millions of dollars to Oklahoma State. True or false? I’m going to go ahead and say that’s probably a little blown out of proportion.

"“I’m going to say that the dollar figure is somewhere in the millions for the amount of time that we’ve had on the air for that,” Gundy said during Big 12 Media Days."

Oklahoma State’s head coach is just having some fun and you can’t fault him for that. His team is widely considered a top-10 squad and the favorite to contend with Oklahoma for the conference title.
