Ranking 20 college football QBs with best chance to succeed in NFL
The last quarterback on this list not likely to get drafted into the NFL in the next draft. Georgia’s Jacob Eason was the top QB recruit in his class. His first season with the Dawgs definitely had its ups and downs but the positive shine brighter than anything.

More than anything, Georgia as a whole needs to stop choking away leads and start winning games that they should be winning (i.e. the Tennessee game last season). That’s sure to happen as Eason progresses into the role that head coach Kirby Smart expects him to fill.
As a freshman, Eason threw for 2,430 yards and 16 touchdowns. He also performed well in a bowl win over the TCU Horned Frogs with two passing touchdowns and no interceptions. Moreover, Georgia has such a talented backfield with rushers like Nick Chubb and Sony Michel that Eason does not have to do that much to win games.
Expect Eason to get his stat line up around 3,000 passing yards and 20-25 touchdowns in 2017. He has the most potential out of all quarterbacks that are in the first two years of their college career.
