College Football: Buy or sell top 25 teams as National Title contenders

It seems like we would not even have to make a slide for this one. However, the Alabama Crimson Tide are at the top of the preseason rankings once again, at least they’re ranked No. 1 in the Coaches Poll.

From sophomore quarterback Jalen Hurts to running back Bo Scarbrough to wide receiver Calvin Ridley, the Tide have one of the best groups of talent in the country of any offense. And the defense should dominate most of their opponents once again.

Defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick should be a top 10 pick and has been talked about, along with Derwin James and Arden Key, as being the best defensive players in the nation. Watch out for players like defensive end Da’Shawn Hand and cornerback Trevon Diggs to really have breakout seasons in 2017.

Expect nothing less from head coach Nick Saban and the Tide than to be right there with teams like Ohio State and Florida State in the Playoff. However, Alabama does face the Seminoles in Week 1, so we’ll get to see, early, what both teams are made of.
