College Football: Buy or sell top 25 teams as National Title contenders

With quarterback Brad Kaaya gone, it’s time for the Miami Hurricanes to usher in a completely new era under second year head coach Mark Richt. Junior quarterback Malik Rosier or freshman quarterback N’Kosi Perry will take over in Kaaya’s absence.

The expectations seem a little high for the Canes coming just one season after a nine win effort. However, it looks like Miami finally has the right head coach for the first time since Butch Davis to lead them back to glory. It feels like so long ago that the Canes were always a National Championship contender.

The defense has one of the best young players in the nation in sophomore linebacker Shaquille Quarterman. The young linebacker totaled 84 tackles, 3.5 sacks, and one fumble recovery in his freshman season.

Very few conferences are going to have more Playoff contenders than the ACC, which makes it tough for an improving program like Miami to put it all together in just one season.
