Oregon State Football: 3 potential transfer options for QB Marcus McMaryion
Staying in the same conference would make for an easier transition and transfer for McMaryion. The future at quarterback for Wazzu after superstar Luke Falk leaves is in flux. Adding a proven option like McMaryion to keep him inside the Pac-12 would be a huge get for the Cougars.
McMaryion would not even have to leave the division, Pac-12 North, to join the Washington State football program in Pullman. Yet, adding a dual threat quarterback like McMaryion would be a different look for the Washington State offense. Falk is currently a pocket pass that can really make any throw necessary. He does not have the same ability to scramble and create offense when the line breaks down.

The next man up for the Cougars is redshirt sophomore Tyler Hilinski who has 245 career passing yards and two touchdowns with one interception. It would create an interesting competition with Wazzu to add McMaryion to a battle for the starting quarterback spot with Hilinski.
